弦楽四重奏団 YEAH Quartet
東京藝術大学器楽科弦楽専攻の同級生4人により、2017年に結成。藝祭や、大学のある地域のお祭り“谷中祭”をはじめ、パルナソスホール主催「朝のハーモニー」、ル・ポン音楽祭関連演奏会などに出演。2020年には日本音楽財団主催ランチタイムコンサート、東京藝術大学室内楽定期演奏会に出演。第76回東京国際芸術協会新人演奏会オーディションにて優秀新人賞を受賞。クラシックを基本にジャンルを問わず、ジャズやポップスなどメンバー自らによる編曲や即興をまじえた楽曲の演奏にも力を入れ、幅広く演奏活動を行なっている。大友肇、苅田雅治、百武由紀、松原勝也の各氏に師事。ハーゲン弦楽四重奏団によるマスタークラスを受講。名前の由来は、メンバーそれぞれの頭文字から。
栗林衣李 【第1ヴァイオリン(vol.9) 第2ヴァイオリン(vol.10)】
長野県出身。これまでにヴァイオリンを玉井菜採、植村太郎の各氏に、ヴィオラを市坪俊彦、百武由紀 の各氏に師事。第14回チェコ音楽コンクール第2位。第22回KOBE国際音楽コンクール優秀賞。ミュンヘン国際音楽セミナー、ザルツブルク・モーツァルテウム藝術大学マスタークラスを受講し、ザルツブルク大聖堂での演奏会に出演。東京藝術大学を経て同大学大学院修士課程に在学中。
萩原安里紗 【第2ヴァイオリン(vol.9) 第1ヴァイオリン(vol.10)】
沖縄県出身。ヴァイオリンを岡田光樹、香西理子、杉江洋子、野口千代光、植村太郎、セバスティアン・ハーマン、ユリア・シュローダーの各氏に師事。第25、27回日本クラシック音楽コンクール、第20回日本演奏家コンクールなどで上位入賞。京都堀川音楽高校、東京藝術大学を経て、フライブルク音楽大学修士課程に在学中。一般社団法人京一商西京同窓会奨学生。
桂田光理 【ヴィオラ】
兵庫県出身。ヴィオラを、ザザ・ゴグア、山本由美子、市坪俊彦、百武由紀の各氏に師事。これまでに、ウィーン国立音楽大学サマーセミナー、小樽ヴィオラマスタークラス等に参加し、演奏会に出演する。第16回日本演奏家コンクール弦楽器部門第一位。東京藝術大学を経て、同大学院修士課程を修了。
梶原葉子 【チェロ】
兵庫県出身。これまでにチェロを野田祐子、北口大輔、河野文昭、苅田雅治、山本裕康の各氏に師事。第20回パルナソス音楽コンクール入賞。第6回刈谷国際音楽コンクール弦楽器部門一般の部準グランプリ(グランプリなし)。兵庫県立姫路東高等学校を卒業。東京藝術大学を経て、同大学院修士課程に在学中。
川野朝葉 【コントラバス】
1998年生まれ。2歳よりヴァイオリンを、12歳よりコントラバスを始める。東京藝術大学器楽科コントラバス専攻卒業。これまでにコントラバスを池松宏、吉田秀、西山真二の各氏に師事。Thomas Martin、Edicson Ruiz各氏のマスタークラスを受講。第28回日本クラシック音楽コンクールコントラバス部門第4位。第71回東京国際芸術協会新人オーディションに優秀賞にて合格、同新人演奏会出演。第8回秋吉台音楽コンクール第4位。ソリストとして藝大フィルハーモニア管弦楽団と共演。2019年、小澤征爾音楽塾オーディションに合格し、セイジ・オザワ松本フェスティバルに参加。2019年度公益財団法人青山音楽財団奨学生。東京藝術大学同声会賞受賞。
4 classmates from the Strings Instruments Major of the Department of Instrumental Music at the Tokyo University of the Arts formed the quartet in 2017. They have performed at the university festival, at the “Yanaka Festival,” a local festival where the university is located, at the “Morning Harmony” sponsored by Parnassus Hall and Le Pont Musical Festival-related concerts. In 2020, they performed at the lunchtime concert sponsored by the Nippon Music Foundation and the Chamber Music Concert of the Tokyo University of the Arts. The quartet has received an outstanding freshman award at the 76th TIAA (Tokyo International Association of Artists) Freshman Concert. Although their primary focus is classical music, they also engage in performances of various other genres such as jazz, pops, arrangements by the members themselves, as well as impromptu musical compositions. The members have studied under Hajime Otomo, Masaharu Kanda, Yuki Hyakutake and Katsuya Matsubara. They have also taken the master’s course by Hagen Quartett. The origin of the name YEAH comes from the acronym of the members’ names.
Eri Kuribayashi, 1st violin(vol.9) / 2nd violin(vol.10)
From Nagano Prefecture. Studied violin under Natsumi Tamai, Taro Uemura, and viola under Toshihiko Ichitsubo and Yuki Hyakutake. Won 2nd place in the 14th Czech Music Competition and outstanding performance award in the 22nd KOBE International Music Competition. Attended the Munich International Music Seminar and the master’s course at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, and performed at the concert held in the Salzburg Cathedral. After graduating from the undergraduate course at the University of the Arts, currently enrolled in the Masters Program of the university.
Arisa Hagiwara, 2nd violin(vol.9) / 1st violin(vol.10)
From Okinawa Prefecture. Studied violin under Mitsuki Okada, Noriko Kousai, Yoko Sugie, Chiyoko Noguchi, Taro Uemura, Sebastian Hamann and Julia Schröder. Won high-ranking awards at the 25th and 27th Japan Classical Music Competition and the 20th Japan Player’s Competition. After graduating from Kyoto Municipal Horikawa High School of Music and the University of the Arts, she is currently enrolled at the University of Music Freiburg. She is a scholarship student of the Kyoissho Saikyo Alumni Association.
Hikari Katsurada, viola
From Hyogo Prefecture. Studied viola under Zaza Gogua, Yumiko Yamamoto, Toshihiko Ichitsubo and Yuki Hyakutake. Participated in the summer seminar of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Otaru Viola Masters Course, etc. and has performed in concerts therein. Won 1st prize in the strings section of the 16th Japan Player’s Competition. She graduated from the undergraduate course at the University of the Arts and is currently in the 2nd year of the master’s course in the graduate school of the aforementioned university.
Yoko Kajiwara, cello
From Hyogo Prefecture. Studied cello under Yuko Noda, Daisuke Kitaguchi, Fumiaki Kouno, Masaharu Kanda and Hiroyasu Yamamoto. She won a prize at the 20th Parnassus Music Competition and Semi-Grand Prix (no Grand Prix) in the general string instruments section of the 6th KARIYA International Music Competition. She graduated from Hyogo Prefecture Himeji-Higashi High School and the undergraduate course in the University of the Arts and is currently enrolled in the master’s course in the aforementioned university.
Asaha Kawano, contrabass
Born in 1998. Began playing the violin from age 2 and contrabass from age 12. Graduated from the Contrabass Course at the Tokyo University of the Arts. Up to the present, she has studied under the tutelage of Hiroshi Ikematsu, Shu Yoshida, and Shinji Nishiyama and has also taken masters classes by Thomas Martin and Edicson Ruiz. She won 4th place in the Contrabass Section of the 28th Japan Classical Music Competition. Kawano was accepted and won an outstanding performer award in the freshman audition of the 71st TIAA (Tokyo International Association of Artists) after which she performed in the aforementioned freshman concert. She won 4th place in the 8th Akiyoshidai Music Competition and performed with the Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra, Tokyo, as a soloist. Kawano passed the Seiji Ozawa Music Academy audition and participated in the Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival. She was accepted as the Aoyama Music Foundation scholarship student in 2019 in addition to winning the Doseikai Prize.
